Born and trained in Iwate Japan. He joined the Royal Ballet school,1991 after winning the Prix de Lausanne. He joined the Royal Ballet, 1993 and Promoted to First Soloist. 2000.  His repertory includes Prince(Nutcracker), Franz(Coppelia), Lead Man(Les Rendezvous), Bluebird,Gold(Sleeping Beauty), Pas de Trois(Swan Lake), Pas de Six(Giselle), Bronze Idole(La Bayadere),Officer(Mayerling), Gentleman(Manon), Benvolio,Mandolin Dance(Romeo and Juliet), roles in Synphonic Variations, Le Noces, Gloria, Song of the Earth, Concerto, Dance Concertantes, Prince of Pagodas, Birthday Offering, Galanteries, Les Patineurs, Symphony in C, Mr Worldly Wise. He created roles in Puirt-a Beul, Two-Part Invention, Turn of the Screw, Crusible, and Masquerade.
