  Linda Ronstadt has established one of the most impressive careers in the history of contemporary music.  Linda Ronstadt has broadened the latitudes of the pop singer, expanding the vocalist’s canvas to include country, rock n’ roll, big band, jazz, opera, Broadway, Mexican and Afro-Cuban influences, leaving no stone unturned in the pursuit of the ultimate song.  With worldwide album sales more than 50 million, and countless gold, platinum, and Grammy award winning records to her credit, Linda Ronstadt has achieved a popularity and prestige that only continues to grow. 

Linda Ronstadt began her pop career in 1967 with the Stone Poneys, topping the charts with the classic “Different Drum.” 

 

With 30 albums under her belt, countless sold out tours across the globe, she’s won seven Grammy’s along the way, releasing classic albums such as Heart Like A Wheel, Hasten Down the Wind, and several other critically acclaimed forays into waters not usually chartered by a pop star of her magnitude. 

Of Linda’s most celebrated work was her collaboration with renowned conductor and arranger Nelson Riddle.  Nelson Riddle’s unforgettable career conducting and arranging for the likes of Judy Garland, Nat King Cole, and Frank Sinatra spanned forty years and made him a living legend.  Near the end of his life, Nelson Riddle sought out Linda Ronstadt and together they created three enormously successful albums of American popular standards.  This collaboration won them critical and commercial success as well as several Grammy awards.  Nelson Riddle referred to Linda Ronstadt as one of the most important popular voices of our time.
